My Favorite Football Games
- Foto Electric Football by Cadaco and Football Strategy by Avalon Hill. Two great games that bring the action of football to the tabletop. Easy to learn and play with a minimum of random factors.

Strat-o-Matic Football
- Far better than any competitor as a simulation. Gives a sense of real play calling, both offensively and defensively. Offers a simple basic game and advanced-play versions that are both realistic and stimulating to play. The rules could be updated, redone, colorized and reprinted, but Strat-o-Matic Football is still your best choice if you want to feel like you're in charge of all aspects of the game.

Pizza Box is Good, Blood Bowl is Best
- I enjoy playing Pizza Box Football, but nothing compares to a good game of Blood Bowl. I haven't tried Grind yet, but it sounds like I need to.
