Game designer Richard Borg teaches Memoir '44 during a demo at the 2007 World Boardgaming Championships. Memoir '44, which recreates battles from World War II, is for 2 players, ages 87 and up, and it takes about 45 minutes per game. Memoir '44 was my pick as the fourth best game published in 2004.
Richard is a great guy who also designed the fantasy-themed BattleLore (my pick as the best board game of 2006) and several other fantastic games.
