Hasbro announced the development of a series of handheld electronic games designed to help keep brains of all ages sharp and fit. The My Q games will offer brain training games for both adults and kids that serve up fun bursts of mind-bending challenges in areas such as logic, spatial awareness, creativity and memory.

The My Q games are scheduled to be available in summer 2007 for less than $25 each. According to a Hasbro press release, two full-size handheld games, My Q and My Q Junior, each include a mix of 10 age- and skill-appropriate games ranging from math and word challenges to memory and concentration tests. Two additional pocket-size games will also be available: My Q Pocket Numbers and My Q Pocket Word Editions. Each will include two rapid-fire games that are played in three minutes or less.

"My Q products are all about quick, fun and portable games that stretch and flex brains of all ages," said Jay Bruns, Hasbro Games' marketing director, in a press release. "The size, accessibility and fun factor of My Q games make the experience ideal for back-seat entertainment on road trips, passing the time while standing in line at the grocery store, waiting around in an airport or just when you have a few spare minutes around the house."

My Q games are sized to slip into pockets, backpacks and handbags; the pocket-sized editions will clip easily onto key rings.
