Cosmic Catch combines the very old-school (a game of catch) with the ultra new-school (smart electronics). The ball speaks to players, telling them who to throw to next. And if the players get it wrong, the ball knows -- because each player is wearing a colored band with an electronic sensor around one of their hands.
We played a quick game in the Hasbro showroom, and I tried to trick the ball by catching it with the hand that didn't have the sensor. Well, the ball was smarter than I was. It knew that it hadn't been caught properly and ended the round.
Cosmic Catch features four games (Fast Pass, Add One, You're Out and Code Challenge), some of which mix the game of Simon with the game of Catch.
