All five games were on display at the 2006 American International Toy Fair in New York City, and they all look interesting. None of the games appear to be entirely trivia-based, although at least some of them will have trivia questions as a component of gameplay. The following descriptions are based on promotional material available at the fair.
24 DVD Board Game
Players take on the role of CTU agents, racing time to collect clues and win on-screen "mini-game challenges." Each game begins with a terrorist act; the CTU agents are then briefed and given several clues regarding the terrorists' full plans. Each player decides which clues to follow, knowing that some will be dead ends or red herrings. The first player to identify and stop a threat to national security wins.
Throughout the game, the DVD also acts as a timer, counting down the 24 hours to the terrorist attack that the players are working to prevent. A "virtual CTU office" allows players to analyze data. Future expansions are promised, adding new cases to be solved.

The DVD keeps tack of each player's turn and features "a wide variety of unique endings and scenarios [that] make each comic book adventure different every time you play it." Players work to collect Omega Discs, giving them extra strength for the eventual showdown with Magneto.
Along the way, there will be mental and physical challenges, including one-on-one face offs against bad guys like Sabertooth, Holocaust and Mystique. The players' choices dictate how the story unfolds. Future expansions are promised, adding new stories and challenges.
