Cleopatra and the Society of Architects was a tournament game at the 2006 World Boardgaming Championships. Designed by Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc, and published by Days of Wonder, Cleopatra challenges players to construct a palace with great 3D components. The catch is that you're almost certain to become a little corrupt during the building process -- and the most corrupt player cannot win the game, even if he scores the most points. In other words, it's OK to be corrupt, but you don't want to be the most corrupt.

Cleopatra and the Society of Architects is a terrific family strategy game with a complexity level comparable to Ticket to Ride: Europe.
