Can you trade for future considerations?

By Erik Arneson, About.com Guide

Question: Can you trade for future considerations?
Answer: No. Official Monopoly tournament rules prohibit any trade that involves future considerations.

You can never cut a deal involving future considerations, such as a promise to give someone the $200 you earn the next time you pass Go, or a promise to not force them to pay rent the next time they land on one of your properties.
