Gameplay in Brief:
Players compete to end the game with the most treasure in The Hobbit. Adventure cards, drawn when Bilbo Baggins enters certain spaces on the board, present players with challenges that can be overcome with the game's five custom six-sided dice.
Each player is a dwarf assisting Bilbo and can improve their chances of completing an adventure with three traits: cunning, strength, and initiative. Cunning allows a player to re-roll dice, strength gives players a better chance to win an adventure check, and initiative determines which player draws the adventure card and how many shields they contribute to battle.
