Wizards of the Coast featured both of their Star Wars games at Gen Con 2007.

The Star Wars Miniatures game, for which about 150 new figures will be published in 2007 (many are available now), will give fans a preview of the 2008 video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed with a Star Wars Miniatures expansion of the same name in November.

The Force Unleashed ($21.99 suggested retail price per booster) includes 60 figures, and it's a booster-only set drawn from the Star Wars "expanded universe" of comics, novels and video games. In addition, fourteen of the figures in this set represent iconic characters from the game that will be available for the first time, and an additional 10 are "huge" figures.

Also in November, Galaxy Tiles ($12.95 suggested retail price) will be available. This set of six double-sided cardstock sheets of die-cut terrain tiles allows players to construct customized battle surfaces. Galaxy Tiles are also compatible with Star Wars roleplaying games.

Classic Star Wars roleplaying game titles are receiving an update in 2007. In June, the Saga Edition core rulebook ($39.95 suggested retail price) updated the only Star Wars d20 system to include material from all six films. Rules for incorporating Star Wars Miniatures into play are also included, and it is fully compatible with all previously published Star Wars RPG supplements.

Starships of the Galaxy ($34.95 suggested retail price) is scheduled to be available in December. Options for building custom starships, space combat rules and new character classes highlight this 160-page rules supplement for the Star Wars RPG. Schematics and deck plans for the most popular starships from each of the six films, in addition to the expanded universe of Star Wars comics, novels and video games, are included in this book, which is an update of the original 2001 title.
