What You'll See:
SaltCon focuses on board games, card games, and roleplaying games. The game library boasts hundreds of games available for opening gaming, while the scheduled tournament games include Dominion, The Settlers of Catan, Power Grid and more. A "concierge service" promises to match "the right game to the right person."
The Ion Award Game Design Competition, for both unpublished and newly published designers, gives contestants a chance to show off their work to "industry experts" at SaltCon.
Attendees can also participate in a game trade program, and games from sponsoring companies will be given away throughout SaltCon.
Cost:
Individual two-day passes are $30 in advance or $45 at the door; a one-day pass is $20 in advance or $30 at the door. Group passes for up to five people are also available.
Accommodations:
Rooms are available at the Royal Garden Inn and the nearby Comfort Inn.
Parking:
Plenty of free parking is available at the facility.
