The board is divided into four regions: East, South, Midwest and West. The entire look of 1960: The Making of the President -- the cards, board, tokens, box cover and more -- is tremendously evocative of the 1960 election. I asked the designers how much input they had into the graphics.
Co-designer Jason Matthews: "We had some minor suggestions, little bits of thematics for the board, some utilitarian suggestions for the cards. But the genius behind the art and graphics all belongs to Josh Cappel. He is an amazingly talented graphic artist. I expect after this effort, he'll be in high demand."
Co-designer Christian Leonhard: "Definitely."
Published by Z-Man Games and designed by Leonhard and Matthews, 1960: The Making of the President is for 2 players, ages 12 and up. It takes about 90 minutes per game. The suggested retail price is $49.99.
