Like all the Guides at About.com, I'm a real person. You can email me at boardgames.guide@about.com.
F.A.Q.
- Q. How do I find (insert board game title)?
- A. Locating Hard-to-Find Games is loaded with useful information. Check out the resources on that page and then if you still need help, post a note in the Big Game Hunt folder on the Board/Card Games Forum. Lots of serious gamers frequent the forum, as do a number of game retailers.
- Q. What's your favorite board game?
- A. It depends on my mood, but there are dozens and dozens of games that I would gladly play at the drop of a hat. Among my current favorites are HeroScape, Settlers of Catan, and Ticket to Ride.
- Q. What's the best way to ask you a question?
- A. The best way to ask a question -- any question -- about board games or card games is to post a note on the About.com Board/Card Games Forum. Not only will I answer, but you're likely to get input from other gamers around the world.
- Q. Where can I send a press release or information about a game?
- A. Press releases can be sent via email (plain text, please; attachments rarely get opened) to boardgames.guide@about.com or, if you prefer, by snail mail to Erik Arneson, About.com Board/Card Games, P.O. Box 63, Cornwall, PA 17016-0063.
- Q. What's your game review policy?
- A. I will consider reviewing every game that is sent to me (Erik Arneson, About.com Board/Card Games, P.O. Box 63, Cornwall, PA 17016-0063 USA). I receive more games than I can review, but every game will be given fair consideration. When sending games, please be sure to include a complete set of rules and (if the game is not widely available in stores) ordering information.
- Q. How can I advertise on your site?
- A. There are several advertising options available. Take a look at our Be An Advertiser information for details.
