Sid Sackson Game Collection Auction - Photo Gallery

This gallery is a collection of photos taken at the November 16, 2002, auction of 10,000-plus games from Sid Sackson's massive collection, and of the games I purchased at that auction.

The games which were to be auctioned off as individual games (or in small lots of 2-5 games) were sitting on several tables in the auction hall. Beneath the tables, some of which are seen in this pre-auction photo, were the box lots; each box contained 5 to 10 games. The boxes were usually auctioned in lots of two or three. Among the games seen here are Boom or Bust, Battlestar Galactica and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
