Two weeks ago, Pat Premo (owner of Fast-Action Sports) used his NFL table game to run a pair of games based on the teams in this year's NFC and AFC championship games.

With Super Bowl Sunday here, Premo took some time to match a great Giants team from the past with one of the great Cleveland Browns teams (since the Ravens have only existed for a few years and were the Browns before moving to Baltimore).

1948 Cleveland Browns

The '86 Giants, despite trailing the Denver Broncos 10-9 at halftime of Super Bowl XXI, dominated the second half and won 39-20 behind their quarterback and Super Bowl MVP, Phil Simms.

The '48 Browns went undefeated in the AAFC, beating the likes of the Los Angeles Dons, the Chicago Rockets, the New York (football) Yankees and the Brooklyn (football) Dodgers. They won the championship game over the Buffalo Bills, 49-7.

In Premo's matchup, similar to what's expected to happen in this year's Super Bowl, defense dominated the game.

"As good as the Giants' defense was, the Browns' was even better," he said. "But both offenses were not to be denied as each team scored two touchdowns. The Ravens added a field goal for the win, and a late rally by the Giants fizzled as time ran out."

1948 Cleveland Browns17

I hope you have a great Super Bowl Sunday -- and I hope you're able to get in some good gaming before the televised game begins!
