Cosmic Encounter

About Cosmic Encounter: Players are aliens trying to colonize foreign worlds. But to be successful, they'll need help from their opponents -- whom they also will sometimes fight against. Each alien race has a unique special power. Eon, the original publisher, released nine expansions for Cosmic Encounter. Editions of Cosmic Encounter were also published by several other companies, including Mayfair Games (1991) and Avalon Hill (2000). An online version of Cosmic Encounter also is available.
