Chuckle Games Company announced recently that it received its second award for their board game Brainstrain. The National Parenting Center has selected Brainstrain to receive their Seal of Approval for 2001, stating that Brainstrain is "of superb design and quality."

The product testing division of NPC is run by independent testers including parents, educators and panelists of the center. Winners of the Seal of Approval will be featured in ParenTalk Magazine and on the tnpc.com website.

In addition to the National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval, Brainstrain won a Mensa Select Award in April 2001. The August 2001 issue of edplay, a magazine targeted to specialty toy and game retailers, includes an article featuring the Mensa Select winners and the significance of the award.

Brainstrain was launched at the New York International Toy Fair in February 2001. Chuckle Games Company was established in 2000 and is located in Rocklin, California. Brainstrain is their first game. Additional games are planned.

Brainstrain sells for about $30 and is currently available in 43 retail locations in 20 states and in online stores.
