Where's Bob's Hat?, a card game designed by Alan R. Moon, is scheduled to be published by Rio Grande Games in September 2001.

In this trick-taking game, designed for 3 to 5 players, ages 10 and up, players bid to take the most cards in each of three suits or the least number of cards overall. Finding Bob's hat can add to or subtract from a player's score.

A previous version of this game -- without the special Bob's hat rules -- was released as Wer Hat Mehr? (which translates to Who Has More?) in Germany. When Rio Grande Games acquired the rights to print an English version of Elfenland, they also agreed to print an English edition of this game.

The game's title transformed to "Where's Bob's Hat?" based on a conversation between Moon and Bob Schwartz, owner of Games Unlimited in Pittsburgh and host of the Internet television show The Board Room. That conversation spilled into the About Board Games Forum (see links in the sidebar to the right) and the game now will come with a special Bob's Hat card. Moon and his design partner Aaron Weissblum plan to publish additional special edition cards on the Web when Rio Grande releases the game.
