In a post to a public newsgroup, the company's Pete Fenlon wrote, "I regret to say that, after 20+ years and after having published hundreds of adventure game products, Iron Crown Enterprises is closing its doors."

Fenlon said that the bakruptcy trustee "will attempt to sell the entire company, as a whole or in parts, whichever method brings the best price." As of today, I have not heard whether that sale has been executed.

ICE's board games included The Hobbit Adventure, Shark and Pyramidis.
