According to Rio Grande, players try to build their cities so they can control the most islands in the archipelago. Taller cities must be placed in the north, shorter cities in the south. There are different maps for three and four players, with plenty of strategic choices to be made.
The suggested retail price for Meridian, designed by Leo Colovini (Cartagena), is $39.95. The game is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2001.
The 3-4 player game is recommended for ages 12 and up, with an estimated playing time of 45-60 minutes.
