According to Rio Grande, players in Wyatt Earp are bounty hunters who work cooperatively and competitively to capture the most notorious outlaws of the Wild West by collecting and playing sets of cards. When a player plays a set, he both adds to the reward and improves his chances of collecting the reward for that outlaw.
At the end of each hand, players collect money based on the outlaws they helped capture. After several hands, the winner is the player with the most money.
The suggested retail price for Wyatt Earp, designed by Richard Borg (Hera and Zeus) and Mike Fitzgerald (Mystery Rummy), is $19.95. The game is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2001.
The 2-4 player game is recommended for ages 12 and up, with an estimated playing time of 45-60 minutes.
