Aaron D. Fuegi's Internet Top 100 Games List has undergone a significant change between issues 79 and 80.

That increase came mainly from two large blocks -- the first being roughly two dozen people who responded to a request from Steve Cole, designer of Star Fleet Battle, to visit the site and vote. The second is a group of gamers who subscribe to a discussion list -- about 40 people -- and voted in an unrelated poll. The scores from that poll, however, were compatible with Aaron's ranking system for the Internet Top 100 Games and so he obtained permission to use them on his site.

The second group of voters had a wider influence, as Fuegi explains:
- Euphrat & Tigris goes back to being #1 over Die Siedler von Catan.
- Torres goes from #14 up to #4.
- Ohne Furcht und Adel (Citadels) rises to #5.
- Taj Mahal rises to #9.
- Die Fursten von Florenz rises to #23.
- Star Fleet Battle drops down a bit from #29 to #37.
"Whether this [the change] was a good thing or not I don't know," Fuegi wrote. "I personally think [the diffused average system] was good in some instances (like the SFB case) and bad in other instances (like not letting Ohne Furcht and Adel get quick recognition on the list). Anyway, that method is gone and won't be coming back but discussions are welcome."
The top 10 games in the current list are:
- Euphrat & Tigris (Euphrates & Tigris) by Reiner Knizia
- Die Siedler von Catan (The Settlers of Catan) by Klaus Teuber
- El Grande by Wolfgang Kramer and Richard Ulrich
- Torres by Michael Kiesling and Wolfgang Kramer
- Ohne Furcht und Adel (Citadels) by Bruno Faidutti
- Vinci by Philippe Keyaerts
- Durch die Wuste (Through the Desert) by Reiner Knizia
- Modern Art by Reiner Knizia
- Taj Mahal by Reiner Knizia
- Samurai by Reiner Knizia
