The official nomination list for the 2000 Spiel des Jahres, the German Game of the Year Award, has been released. The nominees are:

At the beginning of June, the SdJ jury will select three games, one of which will be named Spiel des Jahres 2000 on July 10.

The German Game of the Year Award is widely considered to be the most prestigious available to games today. If you're interested in trying out some or all of these games, you can find them at the retailers listed at our Shopping for Board Games page.
