Other games coming soon from Cheapass, with descriptions from the company Web site:
- The Big Idea, March 2000
Another sharp little business game in the spirit of The Big Cheese, The Big Idea is about venture capital, public offerings, and inventing the next hot product. Combine traditional consumer products like "Cheese" and "Hat" with unexpected adjectives like "Disposable" and "Dot Com," and you get the idea. Extra cheap at only three bucks. - Button Men: Freaks, March 2000 (or May; there's conflicting information at the site)
An unusual little Button Men expansion. These four characters, illustrated by Rob Schwarz, are the most ridiculous and unplayable characters you've ever seen, Max has eight poison dice. Mister Peach has three different Twins. Simon has Queer Dice (sometimes Shadow, sometimes not) and Werner looks fairly normal, except for his Poison Speed Shadow Turbo Swing. Two pairs, $4.50 each. - Button Men: Brawl, available now
This new set of Button Men includes the six characters from the Brawl card game, with all new art and a new die type: Speed Dice. These guys are cool. Speed Dice can capture multiple dice in a single attack. The sets are Bennett/Chris, Darwin/Hale, and Morgan/Pearl, $4.50 per set. - Brawl: Club Foglio, July 2000
This expansion is still in the formative stage, but we're hoping to know more about it next month. Basically, it's six new Brawl decks illustrated by Phil Foglio, with three new card types and some pretty fantastic art. Cheapass hopes to get this game produced by July, in time for the Origins game show.
