Living Life

Living Life is a unique game -- although "experience" might be more accurate than game. The cards inside the box are designed to be played by a person (with or without friends and family) in order, from 1 to 30.

Each card has a "feel-good, real-life adventure" on it -- such as contacting old friends, test-driving your dream car, or watching the sun rise. The idea first came to designer Jay Moore in September 2001, when he was hit by the odd juxtaposition of preparing for a wedding in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C.

Living Life II is already in the works.

NumbTers

From the publishers of the trivia game Teams of Enemies comes this quick little card game, NumbTers. Each player begins with seven cards; each card has a letter (A to Z) and a number (1 to 26). The goal is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards by playing them into one of two piles, making sure that your card is the right "direction" away from the card on top of the pile. Bombs and wild cards spice the game up a bit.

For 2 to 6 players, ages 10 and up.

Players create words, and then hope their opponents don't steal them to create even longer words in WordXchange. You have one minute to strike back. You can make a new word or steal REACT, add an E and an H and turn it into TEACHER. Ages 10 and up.
