13 Dead End Drive
Hi there! We were given a second-hand game made by Milton Bradley called 13 Dead End Drive, but it has no instructions. It looks like a cross between Clue and Mousetrap. Do you have any idea where we can find the instructions how to play? Thanks!Canoga (Clapper)From Your Guide: I was unable to locate instructions online for this game, which from what I gather was first manufactured in the early to mid 1990s, but Hasbro's site (they own Milton Bradley) does have a page of instructions for other games:
http://www.hasbro.com/consumer/instruct.htm
More helpfully in this case, they also have a "Consumer Affairs Form" that you can use to submit questions about any Milton Bradley, Parker Brothers or Hasbro game:
http://www.hasbro.com/consumer/conform.html
CONCLUSION: Another visitor to the site wrote in and offered to make a copy of the game instructions.
I am looking for a board game that has been called Canoga. It is my understanding that it has been called by several other names. If you know of this game, or can refer me to anyone that may know where to buy this game, I would certainly appreciate it.Encore!CONCLUSION: This game was was found under the name Clapper at a site which is now listed on the Shopping NetLinks page.
I have been looking absolutely everywhere for the game Encore! It's a singing game where you pick a card with a word on it and you have to sing a song with that word in it. I used to play it in music class and I saw it once a few months ago and I'm really starting to regret not buying it. Do you know where I would be able to find it? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.HotelsCONCLUSION: The staff at Boardgames.com wrote in to say that they carry the game (as of June 1999), although its packaging was being redone by the manufacturer (Endless Games) and would be out of stock for several weeks. This game also was found at an auction site listed on the Shopping NetLinks page.
I used to have the game "Hotels" and I can't find it anywhere. I was hoping you could help me find it. Thanks. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. GameCONCLUSION: This game (multiple copies, in fact) was found in June 1999 at an auction site listed on the Shopping NetLinks page.
Anyone know where I can get a copy? Circa mid-60s. Possibly Milton Bradley or Parker Bros. The Newlywed GameFrom Your Guide: According to Bruce Whitehill's American Boxed Games and Their Makers, 1822-1992, with Values, a Man from U.N.C.L.E. card game was manufactured by Milton Bradley in 1965 (valued at $20) and a "Man from U.N.C.L.E." board game was released by Ideal Novelty & Toy Co. that same year (valued at $30). If anyone knows where a copy of either is available, please let me know.
CONCLUSION: This game was found in May 1999 at an auction site listed on the Shopping page.
Hi there. We are just wondering if the Newlywed Game is still available, who the manufacturer is, and where we could locate it. We appreciate any help you can give us.ShogunCONCLUSION: This game was found in June 1999 at an auction site listed on the Shopping page, as well as at FunAgain Games, a retailer also listed on the Shopping page.
Hello, I live in Hawaii, and I've played Axis & Allies before. On the side of the box, I saw a commercial for a game called Shogun. I've looked everywhere on the Internet but I can't find a copy. Can you help me?Solar QuestCONCLUSION: The following note was received from another visitor in July 1999: "Shogun is long out of print, but it has been re-released and is currently available under the new name "Samurai Swords." Just about any toy store that carries Milton Bradley games ought to be able to get you a copy. I purchased mine at Toys 'R' Us. It is actually a much better game than Axis and Allies, IMHO.
Does anybody know the instructions for the board game Solar Quest by Golden? It's basically a Monopoly type game where players buy moons of planets (for example, one can buy up to 11 of Jupiter's moons -- the more moons of a planet one owns, the higher the rent). I know the general instructions, but need to know how much money each player starts with, the cost of fuel stations, the money received for passing Earth, etc.TerraceCONCLUSION: Two visitors to the site responded to this request in June 1999; one email included answers to the questions listed above -- the other included a full set of rules!
I've been trying to locate a game called Terrace -- a board game seen on Deep Space Nine. I heard it was available at Toys R Us, but they don't have it. Any info would be appreciated.True ColorsCONCLUSION: This game, which actually was featured on Star Trek: The Next Generation, was found by a visitor to the site at this page in June 1999:
http://www.contagiousdreams.com/Reviews/Terrace.htmlThe official Terrace Web site exists here:
http://www.teleport.com/~terrace/This game also was found at an auction site listed on the Shopping page.
A few years ago, a friend of mine had a game called True Colors. Unfortunately, it was lost in a house fire and we've been unable to find it anywhere. Have you ever heard of it?From Your Guide: My wife and I happen to own a copy of True Colors. It was published by Milton Bradley (owned by Hasbro) in 1990 (at least that's the copyright date on our game). I'm not sure if Hasbro/MB is still publishing the game.
CONCLUSION: This game was found at an auction site listed on the Shopping page.
