Chess

Chess is my favorite game. Its strategy doesn't compare with many other games I play. The game is easy to learn, yet there are many strategies. There are probably more books written about this game than any other.

Othello is a great game for relaxing. It keeps you occupied without much thought required, though logic is definitely good to have.

A great game for relaxation that brings out strategy as well as tactics, making it a good blend of elements. This game is also easy to learn.

This game is a pretty good multiplayer game, if you have some time. It works better with more people, but can be an okay two player game as well. There is some strategy involved, and many variants to play. The game would be a touch better if there wasn't so much chance involved, though.

A great game for peace. It's very easy to learn and fun to play. It's one of the better two-player games, but it doesn't compare to chess.
