Guide Review - Break the Safe
Players work together in Break the Safe to infiltrate the Evil Guy Complex and obtain secret plans.
Moving through the Evil Guy Complex, they use each other's tools to disarm booby traps and find four keys while avoiding the guard and dog. If an agent's detected by either, he's sent to a holding cell; his teammates must extract him before the mission is complete.
The real trick is that Break the Safe's electronic timer is always in the background, counting down until the safe's self-destruct mechanism goes off and the game ends. Players use a 10-sided die to move; the die also can cause the guard and dog to begin moving.
Break the Safe's concept is terrific, and it's executed very well. This is a great addition to any family's game collection.
