Guide Review - Gouda! Gouda!
There's a pile of cheese at the end of the race, and in Gouda! Gouda! each player controls a team of five mice eager to get their hands on it. The special dice have green (move forward), yellow (stand still) and red (move backward) sides. On a turn, you first pick a space with at least one of your mice and roll as many dice (up to 5) as there are mice on that space. You then choose which die affects which mouse, hopefully moving yourself forward and other players backward.
That's it for the basic version of this board game, which can be fun for children. The advanced game introduces a series of special power cards, such as "reroll," "cancel," "extra turn," and "improvement," making Gouda! Gouda! a light filler for more serious gamers.
