Guide Review - Star Wars Epic Duels
Each of the 12 main characters comes with a customized deck of cards (378 cards total). Including minor characters, there are 31 plastic painted miniatures. And four arenas in which to fight. Players choose a main character, who comes with an assigned minor character (e.g. Han Solo with Chewbacca; Darth Maul with two battle droids).
The game is basically one of card management, as you use your cards to attack and defend. Every deck has powers unique to that character. Various rules allow for 2 to 6 players to take part. Epic Duels is a great game for Star Wars fans, but it also stands on its own as a great beer-and-pretzels type of fight game.
