The two "haunt" booklets in the game Betrayal at House on the Hill have been revised and updated by game designer Bruce Glassco. The new Secrets of Survival and Traitor's Tome are both available as PDF files at the Wizards of the Cost web site. Betrayal was #3 on my list of the best games published in 2004. In the game, players explore a haunted house which is revealed during the game. Initially, they all work together. But one of the characters betrays the rest of the group, and at the end of the game, either the traitor or the innocents win. The original haunt booklets were unclear in many places, inspiring Glassco to produce the updated versions.
