The annual Magic: the Gathering World Championship is scheduled for Sept. 1-5, 2004, in San Francisco. Organizers expect to draw more than 300 individual and team competitors from more than 50 countries, as well as thousands of fans and casual players participating in side events and watching the top player action throughout the championship weekend.
