The Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game (designed by Jason Little, published by Fantasy Flight Games) is now available. The core set -- including three fully assembled and painted ships, 13 ship cards (featuring nine Imperial and four Rebel pilots), five upgrade cards, and several scenarios -- sells for about $40.
X-Wing Miniatures is a tactical, ship-to-ship space combat game for 2 players, ages 14 and up. Each game takes about 20 minutes. A number of expansions, including the X-Wing Expansion Pack, Y-Wing Expansion Pack, TIE Fighter Expansion Pack and TIE Advanced Expansion Pack, are also available now for about $15 each.
