Summoner Wars Master SetThe nominees for the 2012 International Gamers Awards (general strategy categories) have been announced. This year's nominees are:

Multi-Player Category

  • Dungeon Petz (designed by Vlaada Chvatil, published by Czech Games Edition)
  • Eclipse (Touko Tahkokallio, Lautapelit.fi / Asmodée)
  • Hawaii (Greg Daigle, Hans im Glück / Rio Grande Games)

  • Kingdom Builder (Donald X. Vaccarino, Queen Games)
  • Last Will (Vladimir Suchy, Czech Games Edition / Rio Grande Games)

Games released from July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2012, were eligible for consideration. The IGA is meant to recognize outstanding games, designers and publishers. Nominated games tend to be moderately heavy to heavy in terms of strategy, and they will generally appeal to more serious gamers.
