The 2012 World Boardgaming Championships are now underway in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. WBC, hosted by the Boardgame Players Association, is a great event for fans of wargames and designer games. The emphasis is very much on tournament play, although open gaming is also very popular. If you're planning to attend this year's WBC (or you're already there), keep an eye out for me. I hope to make it for at least a few days of gaming!
The next big event on our game convention calendar is Gen Con, taking place in Indianapolis August 16-19.
