The 2010 Chicago Toy and Game Fair (ChiTAG) will once again feature the Young Inventor Challenge. Students 18 and under are invited to submit original game and toy inventions by October 31 for an opportunity to win a terrific prize package. The winner of the competition will be chosen by popular vote at ChiTAG. The entry packet (PDF) includes a lot of helpful information for aspiring inventors.

The prizes for the winner include: dinner with Mike Hirtle, Head of Global Product Acquisition and Inventor Relations for Hasbro; a VIP tour of the workshop at Lund and Company Invention, with Bruce Lund; a feature in Inventor's Digest and a one-year subscription; three tickets to the Toy of The Year Awards in New York City, plus a two-night hotel stay in New York; and a special pre-show tour of the American International Toy Fair.
