World Series of Poker Final Table

The final table of the 2008 World Series of Poker gets underway today at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas. Play begins at 10:00 a.m. western U.S. time, when the nine remaining players compete for the top prize of $9.1 million (the ninth-place finisher will take home $900,670; here is a complete schedule of the 2008 WSOP prizes). At some point, play will be suspended today and will resume tomorrow night at 10:00 p.m. western U.S. time. Action from the final table can be seen live at the WSOP official web site. An edited version will begin airing Tuesday night on ESPN.
