DVD Games Get Wider Distribution
Monday October 20, 2008
For the first time ever, Blockbuster video stores will sell DVD games during the upcoming holiday season, according to a report at VideoBusiness.com. Traditionally, DVD games have been sold alongside board games and card games in retailers such as Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, and Target. Some DVD game publishers, VideoBusiness.com reported, believe the games would sell better if they were displayed next to DVDs. The Walgreen's drugstore chain also plans to offer DVD games for sale. Publisher Imagination Games will offer different versions of its Press Your Luck, Deal or No Deal, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? DVD games to suit each retailer's needs.Image courtesy of Imagination Games

Eric, how amazing would it be to have a texas holdem game on your tv. Honestly thats all I watch on tv right now, if I could play on my tv too, perhaps even in a PIP window, I would be as happy as a racoon in a dumpster, or some other pleasant type analogy.
