I must say, I’m not surprised about the Go player being beaten. Any game that has a fixed number of moves and a fixed board (Go, Chess, Checkers, etc.) and that does not introduce a number of entirely random elements will eventually be ‘dominated’ by computers. It’s a ’simple’ programming/processing issue when there is no uncertainty and variability in a system. It’s still not AI.
