GameTable Online Now Free

GameTable Online, which ranks in my top 5 places to play games online, is now free. "Our business model is changing from one supported by [subscribers] to one primarily supported by advertising," said GTO's Jay Adan in an email to the site's users. "GTO started at a time when advertising was not well liked by the average Internet denizen. Those days have changed drastically." The games available at GameTable Online include 10 Days in Africa, Battle of the Bands, Tigris & Euphrates, Kill Dr. Lucky, Lord of the Fries and New England. Classic games such as Backgammon, Checkers and Chess are also available. About half the games can be played solo against computer opponents.
