Scrabble - Become a Better Player

Becoming familiar with a few key lists can dramatically improve how you play the classic word game Scrabble. Here are some of the basics you need to know in order to become a better Scrabble player:

If you want to play a word game but don't have a Scrabble board handy, try the verbal game Ghosts and the pencil-and-paper game Word Squares.

Thank you for this article. Can you add a bit more to it? For example, why is it important to learn the letter distribution to be a better scrabble player?

Also, do you know of any scrabble learning or hint sites that I can use to help me get better at thinking of words? I don’t want to use the cheat sites – but a little coaching would help.
