Scarlett Johansson to Star in Monopoly: The Movie?

News about a movie based on the board game Monopoly emerged this week, with reports indicating that Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Gladiator) will direct the film, said to be a "racy comedy thriller." Scarlett Johansson (Lost in Translation, The Black Dahlia) and Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man, Marie Antoinette) are rumored to have been offered roles. The film's announcement is part of a recent alliance between Hasbro and agency William Morris. Also in the works is a live-action G.I. Joe movie.
