Pirates - Quest for Davy Jones' Gold Board Game

A board game version of WizKids' constructible strategy game Pirates is scheduled to be available later this month. Titled Pirates: Quest for Davy Jones' Gold, the board game is for 2 or more players, ages 8 and up. It should sell for about $25. According to a company press release, the game focuses on plundering for gold. Ghosts and sea monsters will threaten the players' ships as they attempt to become the most profitable pirates. The game includes 8 ships, 2 sea monsters, 5 crew/treasure cards, 7 islands, 2 dice, and a 28 x 28 inch vinyl board.
