Marvel Heroes Images from Gen Con

All 20 of the plastic figures to be included in the upcoming strategy board game Marvel Heroes were on display at Gen Con 2006 in Indianapolis last week. We have new images of them all:

• The Avengers with Red Skull
• The Fantastic Four with Dr. Doom
• The X-Men with Magneto
• Marvel Knights (Spider-Man, Daredevil, Elektra, Dr. Strange) with Kingpin

Unfortunately, the game itself wasn't available during the time I was there. (Apparently it was held up in customs.) The good news is that Rick Thornquist of BoardGameNews.com was able to play it and he filed a fairly detailed report. He says that it's "chock full of theme [with] lots of interaction and very little downtime." Rick's must-read report also features photos of the game board.
