HyperScan - First RFID Game System

Mattel hopes the word "HyperScan" will be on everybody's lips during the 2006 holiday gift-buying season. HyperScan, the first game system to use RFID (radio frequency identification), can fairly be described as a cross between trading card games (TCGs) and video games. It's being previewed at San Diego Comic Con, which starts today. Here's an early look at the HyperScan and why you might care.
