Sunday June 26, 2005
R.W. Bishop, a 43-year-old resident of Lynnwood, Washington, recently won a Poker tournament at a local casino -- and with it, the $10,000 entry fee into the World Series of Poker. According to an article in the Seattle Times, up to 7,000 people may enter this year's World Series -- a number that would more than double 2004's talent pool, and about eight times the number of people who entered in 2003.
