Wednesday March 2, 2005
Last Friday, Hasbro obtained a temporary restraining order against RADGames of Peterborough, New Hampshire, prohibiting the "manufacture, promotion, distribution or sale of Super Add-Ons Monopoly Version," according to a press release from Hasbro. A lawsuit was filed on Feb. 23. "We are pleased with the swift action of the court in granting the temporary restraining order," said Frank Bifulco, president of Hasbro U.S. Games, in a press release. "We take infringements against all our brands very seriously, especially when it is the most popular game in the world."
