Scene It? TV Edition in Circuit City Stores

Tuesday September 7, 2004
Screenlife, makers of the DVD game Scene It?, recently announced that the Scene It? TV Edition will be available exclusively in Circuit City stores during the month of September 2004.

According to a company press release, customers visiting Circuit City in September 2004 will have the opportunity to be the first in the country to purchase and play the DVD board game with trivia questions and clips from more than 100 television shows.

Scene It? TV Edition combines DVD entertainment with traditional board game fun and features some of television's most popular series, including "Mad About You," "Charlie's Angels," "Leave it to Beaver," "Happy Days," "M*A*S*H," and "24."

"We anticipate Scene It? TV Edition to be one of the hottest games in stores this holiday season," said Dave Long, CEO and co-founder of Screenlife, in the release. "Everyone has their favorite TV shows from the past and present, so it will be a great game for the entire family to sit down and play together."

"Consumer interest in television show DVDs is growing and we feel that growth will translate into excitement for the new Scene It? TV Edition game," said Clif Denney, senior vice president, general merchandise manager for Circuit City. "We are pleased Screenlife has chosen Circuit City to introduce the game to consumers."

Retailing for $44.99, Scene It? TV Edition contains a DVD with more than 700 on-screen challenges, 600 trivia card questions, a "Flextime" game board and TV-themed collectible game pieces.

In October 2004, Scene It? TV Edition will be available through other national department and specialty stores, as well as online at www.sceneit.com. For this game, Screenlife has licensing relationships with 20th Century Fox Film Corporation, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, TV Guide, and Universal Studios.
