Want Smarter Children? Play Games with Them
Sunday July 11, 2004
Dr. William Maxwell, who travels across the United States teaching parents and teachers how to increase children's IQs, says, "Get out of your easy chair and go play games with your children." It's only anecdotal evidence, but I agree with Dr. Maxwell -- children I know who play board and card games regularly tend to be smarter (and better behaved) than children who don't.
