Vermont Library Hosts Weekly Scrabble Events

Every Wednesday afternoon, the Burlington (Vermont) Public Library hosts a Scrabble event for local children. "I wanted a program that would foster their growth and word games are a very good way to enhance their reading skills," said Lee Sylvester, assistant to the children's librarian. This is a simple, effective idea which could easily be replicated in other libraries around the world.
