Trump - The Game

Friday February 6, 2004
Trump - The Game, a board game featuring the visage of Donald Trump on the cover, recently was featured on the reality television series The Apprentice. It looked fun on TV, but is it fun in real life?

Trump - The Game was published by Milton Bradley in 1990. Its designer, Michael Gray, also designed 13 Dead End Drive and Shogun (aka Samurai Swords); he also co-designed Dungeon! and Daytona 500.

According to Mike Siggins' 1991 review, available at the Game Cabinet, Trump - The Game is "an excellent little game ... [that] packs a whole load of neat design ideas."

At Boardgamegeek.com, users have rated it 5.61 on a 10-point scale. One player called it an "underrated financial game... surprisingly fun."

So if you see a copy of Trump - The Game available at a thrift store or yard sale, pick up a copy and give it a try.
